1. About UNBOUND and these Terms
UNBOUND ("UNBOUND," "we," "us") is a film streaming service operated by Dominion Lux Holdings Limited, a private company, limited by shares, registered in England and Wales, registration number 16399171. The registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
These Terms of Service form the agreement between you and Dominion Lux Holdings Limited when you create an account, start a membership or watch on UNBOUND. If you do not agree, please do not use UNBOUND.
2. Eligibility: 18 and over
UNBOUND is for adults. No one under 18 years of age may create an account, buy a membership or hold an account. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or over.
UNBOUND's films are made for adult viewers and are not adapted for children. If we form the belief that an account holder is under 18, we will close the account and refund any purchase made through it.
3. Your account
UNBOUND and Celestial University are both operated by Dominion Lux Holdings Limited and share one sign-in system. If you already have a Celestial University account, you can sign in to UNBOUND with the same email address and password, and a password change applies to both. An UNBOUND membership and a Celestial University membership are separate products: each is bought, billed and cancelled on its own, and neither includes the other.
Your account is personal to you. Keep your password secure and do not share it. You are responsible for activity on your account.
4. The service
UNBOUND streams films, and related material such as audio editions where we offer them, about spiritual, religious, historical and unexplained subjects. Some films and parts of film pages are free to watch. Others require an active membership.
5. The library changes over time
We add films regularly. We may also edit, replace, reschedule or remove films, series, collections and features. Release dates shown for films that are "coming soon" are our current plans, not promises. We do not guarantee that any particular film will be available, or remain available, for any period.
A membership gives you access to the library as it stands while your membership is active. It is not a purchase of, or a right to, any particular title.
6. Memberships, billing and renewal
UNBOUND memberships are sold by Dominion Lux Holdings Limited, which trades as Rev Benton Experience. Checkout and payments are provided by Shopify and its payment partners: you pay through our Shopify store, which appears at checkout, on your receipt and on your card statement as THE REV BENTON EXPERIENCE. We never receive your full card details.
UNBOUND offers two memberships:
- Monthly: charged every month.
- Annual: charged every year.
In the United Kingdom they cost £9.99 a month or £99 a year, and in the United States US$12.99 a month or US$129 a year. Elsewhere, prices are shown in your local currency. The price you pay, including or plus any applicable taxes, is shown at checkout before you pay.
Your membership renews automatically. It starts when your payment is completed and renews at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly, charged to the payment method you used, until you cancel. If we change the price of a membership, we will tell you before the new price applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before it does.
7. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your Account page, which takes you to your secure customer account with our store, or by contacting us. Cancelling stops future renewals. Your membership then continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and access to member films ends when that period ends.
Cancelling does not refund earlier payments, and we do not refund unused time within a billing period, except as our Refund Policy or the law provides. Your account, My List and viewing history remain if you later rejoin.
Before you pay, we ask you to confirm that you want access to begin immediately. Where you request immediate access to UNBOUND's digital content and your membership begins, your statutory right to cancel may be affected as permitted by law. Renewal payments are not automatically refundable once charged; our Refund Policy explains when we do refund.
8. Your licence to watch
While your membership is active (and, for free material, while we make it available), we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to stream UNBOUND content through UNBOUND for private, non-commercial viewing by you and anyone watching with you in your home.
Streaming access is not ownership. You are not buying a copy of any film. You may not:
- download, record, capture, copy or store content, except through a feature we expressly provide for that purpose;
- rebroadcast, re-stream, upload, publicly screen, sell, rent, sublicense or otherwise distribute content, or show it to an audience outside your home, without our written permission;
- share your account or password, or sell or give away access;
- get around access controls, signed links or other technical protections;
- use automated tools to access, scrape or copy UNBOUND or its content.
You are welcome to share links to UNBOUND pages. Accounts found sharing credentials or redistributing content may be suspended.
9. The nature of UNBOUND's films
UNBOUND's films explore spiritual, religious, historical and unexplained subjects. They present the research, interpretation and convictions of their makers and contributors, and are offered for reflection and enquiry. You are free to reach your own conclusions.
We work to be accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every historical, scientific or factual statement in a film is complete or free from error. If you think something is wrong, please tell us.
UNBOUND does not provide medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and its content is not a substitute for professional care. Some films deal with death, grief, spiritual experiences and the occult, which some viewers may find distressing. If a film raises something you are struggling with, please speak to someone you trust or a qualified professional.
10. Intellectual property
All films, audio, artwork, text, design, and the UNBOUND name and branding, belong to Dominion Lux Holdings Limited or its licensors and may not be copied or resold. Apart from the licence in section 8, these Terms give you no rights in them.
11. Availability
We aim to keep UNBOUND available, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. Streaming quality depends on your device and connection. We may change or improve features over time.
12. Suspension and termination
You may cancel at any time (section 7). We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms. If we permanently close UNBOUND, or end your membership for a reason other than your breach, we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.
13. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. That includes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.
Subject to that, we are not responsible for loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses, since UNBOUND is for personal use. Our total liability to you in connection with UNBOUND is limited to the total fees you paid us for UNBOUND in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change materially affects your membership, we will tell you before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before your next renewal. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
